Hi Gentlemen,
anyone own a Samsung Odyssey?
I want to have a look at it before i order a new one from USA or a used one in Germany. As i need VR mostly in a sitting position for Simulators or Elite Dangerous i dont mind for positional tracking in perfection, but there are tests that say it is a better experience than a Vive plus!

Hi,
my Odyssey+ arrived when i was on the CON.
After installation i am still Testing which Settings are the best.
Made my first Flights in ED and AH, looks pretty good.
Tracking is stable in a bright room, as the Room Scale is made from the
2 Cams build in the Odyssey. if the environment is too dark tracking gets worse (NEXT CON NO DIMMING OF LIGHT
)
The Screen looks really better, i would say 30% better than a rift.
It weights a lot more than an oculus, but its OK for me.
There is a special filter on the screens that reduces the Screen door effect, i have to concentrate to
notice it. The Picture looks smoother.
If i decide to hold it i will show you on the next CON.
I will see how i feel with it in a few Weeks, maybe i sell my Oculus soon.

Got a New VR Headset from Pimax, no longer Need for the Odyssey, i sell it at Ebay right now!
